General
Do your plugins run natively on Apple Silicon?
Our current macOS releases run natively on Apple Silicon. Please check the system requirements on the individual product page for exact platform and compatibility information.
Where can I find system requirements and supported formats?
Each product page lists the currently supported operating systems, architectures and plugin formats. Please check the product information section before purchasing or installing.
How do I get support?
Our Support section brings together everything you need, including downloads, manuals, order information, common questions and technical support.
If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, you can contact us directly from there.
Do you run sales or temporary discounts?
Not as a regular strategy. GSILVER Audio products are priced to be fair and accessible from the start, rather than being built around constant promotions, inflated list prices or permanent “limited-time” discounts.
For new plugin releases, however, a one-time introductory price may be offered for a limited period. After that introductory period ends, the product returns to its regular price.
The idea remains simple: straightforward pricing without constant sales or artificial discounts.
Do you offer demos?
Yes. Every GSILVER Audio product comes with a demo version, so you can try it properly in your own setup before buying.
Can I unlock the demo to the full version?
Yes. Enter your serial number and the demo becomes the full version. No separate installer, no reinstallation and no unnecessary extra steps.
What kind of copy protection do you use?
We keep licensing simple and out of your way. GSILVER Audio products are activated with a serial number and work fully offline. There is no dongle, no background service, no online account requirement and no periodic internet check. We believe copy protection should not get in the way of making music.
Do GSILVER Audio plugins require an internet connection?
No. Our tools are designed to work fully offline. An internet connection is not required for normal use.
Where are the plugin files installed?
GSILVER Audio plugins are installed in the standard system plugin folders used by your DAW.
On macOS:
VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
Audio Unit: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
The product manual is installed in:
Applications/GSILVER Audio/[Product Name]/
On Windows:
VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
The product manual and uninstaller are installed in:
C:\Program Files\GSILVER Audio\[Product Name]\
Your DAW should detect the plugin automatically after installation. If it does not appear immediately, restart your DAW or run a plugin rescan.
How do I uninstall a GSILVER Audio product?
On macOS, remove the product’s .vst3 and/or .component file from the standard plugin folders listed above. Then delete the corresponding product folder from Applications/GSILVER Audio/.
On Windows, use the uninstaller located in C:\Program Files\GSILVER Audio\[Product Name]\. You can also uninstall the product through Windows Settings / Installed Apps or the Windows Control Panel.
How many computers can I use my license on?
You may install the Software on multiple devices owned or controlled by you, provided that the Software is used only by you. If several people need to use the Software, each user requires a separate license.
cueMIDI
Does cueMIDI include MIDI content?
No. cueMIDI is designed to browse and preview the MIDI libraries you already own.
For a free starting point, I recommend Ludovic Drolez’ Free MIDI Chords & Progressions collection.
Does cueMIDI generate sound?
No. cueMIDI sends MIDI through the instrument already loaded in your DAW, so you hear the file with the sound you are actually working with.
Can I use my own MIDI folders?
Yes. Add your own MIDI source folders and browse them recursively inside cueMIDI.
Will imported MIDI change my project tempo or time signature?
No. When you drag MIDI from cueMIDI into your DAW, embedded tempo and time-signature events are removed.
Which formats and platforms are supported?
macOS Apple Silicon: VST3 and AU MIDI Effect. Windows x64: VST3.
Is there a demo?
Yes. The demo lets you try the cueMIDI workflow with one source folder and up to 10 MIDI files. There is no time limit.
Does cueMIDI work with my DAW?
cueMIDI works in compatible hosts using its supported plugin formats. Routing differs between DAWs, so the exact setup can vary depending on your host. Check the product page for the currently supported formats and platforms.
